Role Overview: Cybersecurity Intern
Brother International Corporation is offering a PAID Summer 2026 Internship Program. This opportunity is for selected undergraduate students, running from Monday, June 1, to Friday, August 14, with potential for extension based on your schedule and business needs. Eligible applicants must be current sophomores or juniors (rising juniors or seniors during Summer 2026), possess US work authorization, and be able to work full-time following the hybrid schedule in Bridgewater, NJ. The program aims to provide meaningful work and projects, developing a strong talent pipeline for Brother.
This role will be based at our Bridgewater, NJ location and follow a hybrid work schedule. You will be expected to be on site at least 3 days a week, based on business need, with assigned office days determined by the manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Cybersecurity Intern, you may be responsible for supporting projects that contribute directly to our business, dependent on specific business needs and priorities. Examples include:
- Contribute to cybersecurity awareness activities, promoting secure behaviors and risk awareness across the organization.
- Assist with identifying AI and automation opportunities to improve and streamline cybersecurity workflows.
- Assist with data analysis and metrics reporting to provide insights into cybersecurity activities and trends.
Experience & Qualifications
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a present college sophomore or junior (rising junior or rising senior during the Summer 2026 program period) returning to an undergraduate program following the summer.
- Target Major(s) or Fields of Study: Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
Required Experience & Technical Skills:
- Experience in data analytics and working with metrics.
- Technical aptitude or background.
- Demonstrated passion for cybersecurity.
- Ability to think creatively when approaching problems.
Additional Preferred Experience & Technical Skills:
- Experience in Python and Excel.
- Experience creating presentations using PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with web coding or web technologies.
