Senior Backend Software Developer - Engineering Process Automation

Your Tasks
- Technical preparation (e.g. UML) and documentation of software concepts
- Leading code reviews
- Defining and reviewing test cases
- Programming of backends with interlink to databases and other services via HTTP-protocol.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of an existing software product.
- Working in an international environment with intensive communication to Indian and German colleagues
- Contribution to the continuous improvement and automation of internal development processes
Your Profile
- Advanced coding skills in Python. (Proven track record)
- Very good understanding in designing and structuring code bases
- Very good understanding in pytest
- Very good knowledge in the Python framework Django
- Good knowledge in Python tooling. (e.g. pipenv, black, flake8, isort)
- Good technical understanding in web-based transmission formats: (XML, JSON, YAML)
- Good knowledge in creating UML and documentation.
- Knowledge in relational database languages. (e.g. SQL)
- Proven track record with the development environment Visual Studio/VS Code and web-based DevOps lifecycle tools (Git & GitLab)
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English
