Job Responsibilities and Program Highlights
- Year-round paid internship, starting June 2026.
- Full-time commitment (40 hrs/week) from June 2026 to August 2026.
- Part-time commitment (16 hrs/week) from August 2026 to May 2027.
- Opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and career guidance.
- Exposure to corporate culture and the work environment through various accounting-related functions.
- Ongoing presentations and training sessions.
- Emphasis on real estate and alternative investments accounting and/or finance functions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Service-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong team player with a solid work ethic.
- Flexibility to come into the office as required.
- Commitment to a 12-month internship period.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mature, tactful, and professional image.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, working effectively under pressure, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Prior accounting internship or related experience is preferred.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (2nd or 3rd year), ideally having completed an accounting course, and working towards a degree in Accounting with a plan to complete 150 semester hours for CPA designation.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
