Join Our Team

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Server Engineer CICS MQ to support our advanced CICS systems environment. Work closely with application development groups, provide debugging assistance and technical guidance in transaction-based and web service-oriented architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain CICS system software across production, test, and Q/A environments.
  • Customize and maintain IBM and ISV products including monitoring tools such as CPSM and Omegamon.
  • Provide 24x7 real-time problem determination support for CICS-dependent business applications.
  • Analyze traces, dumps, traps, and logs to resolve issues with IBM and ISV support.
  • Apply performance management tools to optimize response times in high-volume transactions.
  • Code and maintain custom programs using Assembler, PL/I, and Rexx.
  • Utilize change, incident, and problem management tools in alignment with data center standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years supporting CICS environments, preferably in insurance or mutual fund industries.
  • Proficiency in Assembler, PL/I, and Rexx.
  • Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and real-time problem resolution.
  • Expertise in performance management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
