Product Manager - Broadcom Software
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, experienced Product Manager to lead multiple products in the Foundational and Open Solutions value stream of Broadcom's mainframe software division. These products (Easytrieve, AION, Telon, Panvalet, Librarian, etc.) deliver operational, financial, and regulatory reporting needs for several key customers. Many of the world's largest banks, retailers, and financial institutions depend on these products and services for the success of their business.
About The Job
The Product Manager is directly responsible for the success of Easytrieve, Panvalet, Librarian, AION, Telon products through strong collaboration and partnership with Engineering, UX, Marketing, and Sales, to deliver relevant industry-leading features in alignment with our MSD business strategy. Success in this job requires identifying market-driven use cases for product development, maintaining excellent customer relationships, leading to customer adoption and retention. This role requires a good understanding of Enterprise reporting solutions on mainframes and skills to develop healthy relationships with key enterprise customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in assisting the development of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and releases of new features or migration plans for this product set.
- Act as an intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D to advocate for the product internally.
- Prioritize product features by analyzing customer needs and breaking them down into functional stories, working closely with Product Owner roles.
- Remove roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines, and business objectives.
- Partner with Architecture teams on solutioning new features and capabilities, including but not limited to exploring the applicability of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
- Lead sales initiatives for customer adoption of new product features in the existing market.
- Measure customer adoption and retention based on the GTM plan and tactics deployed.
Required Education, Experience, And Skills
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development.
- Expertise in managing complex cross-functional, cross-business, cross-disciplinary projects.
- Experience working with business stakeholders in partnership to achieve goals and objectives.
- Basic understanding of software licensing and product delivery in a B2B business model.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills.
- Experience working with product and engineering teams in a collaborative software development environment and defining a Go-To-Market plan.
- Understanding of managing and triaging customer requests.
- Leadership, organization, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of the mainframe software industry, transformation trends, and insights preferred.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
Compensation And Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $104,100 - $166,500. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
