Roles & Responsibilities

The Data Analyst I is responsible for creating advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and BI solutions for HR stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage reporting, analytics, dashboards, and BI solutions.
  • Partner with senior analysts to build visualizations and communicate insights.
  • Implement statistical models, decision support models, and optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, define problem statements, and set KPIs.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, mapping and documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends in reporting, visualization, and analytics.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in:

  • Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, DAX
  • SQL and relational databases
  • ETL tools such as Python, R, and Domino
  • Data modelling, data visualization best practices, and statistical analysis

Experience

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research or a related field, with at least 1+ years of relevant experience in Excel, SQL, and Tableau. Experience with data querying, scripting languages, and communication of analytical findings is essential. Knowledge in HR analytics is a plus.
