Job Description

Investment Associate at Brighton Jones

At Brighton Jones, we’re a purpose-driven, client-focused team committed to helping individuals live richer lives. As one of the largest RIAs in the nation, we’ve built a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and community—recognized with 15 consecutive “Best Places to Work” awards, including Inc.com’s 2025 list, as well as national honors for community impact.

We lead the industry in aligning wealth, passion, and purpose to help our clients thrive. With over $30 billion in assets under advisement, 300+ teammates nationwide, and a dynamic, team-based approach, we’re growing fast—and we’re looking for driven, curious individuals to join our #OneTeam.

Lenora Capital, Brighton Jones’ private investment team, deploys capital across private equity, venture capital, and real estate, while providing consultative support to clients around their private investing activities. We are seeking an Investment Associate who can bring curiosity, rigor, and initiative to projects, investments, and advisory work.

This role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle — from diligence to portfolio management — and the opportunity to work directly with senior investors, founders and our seasoned client service advisors. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly analytical, and possesses strong business acumen, with a desire for building a long-term career in private markets.

  • Source, track, and manage deal flow across private equity, venture capital, and other private market opportunities.
  • Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and due diligence to evaluate potential investments.
  • Identify key insights and risks, communicate findings effectively, and escalate or engage with the right stakeholders as needed.
  • Build market awareness and maintain strong industry connections to support sourcing, diligence, and investment perspectives.
  • Collaborate with senior investors on Investment Committee materials and portfolio updates.
  • Support portfolio companies with initiatives like financial modeling, recruiting, and business development.
  • Manage investment data and pipeline activity in internal systems.

Your Role - Client and Service Team Support

  • Partner with advisors to provide insights and recommendations on private investment opportunities.
  • Review pitch decks, term sheets, and financial models to support client-facing work (will not require direct client interaction initially).
  • Contribute to educational initiatives that expand private market knowledge internally and for clients.
  • Support prospecting and business development efforts with private investment expertise.

Your Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, investment consulting, or related investment roles.
  • Foundational knowledge of the investment industry with strong business acumen.
  • Highly curious and proactive; asks questions and knows what to look for in investment opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to work hard, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on assignments independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); willingness to learn new systems.
  • Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders and internal teams; client-facing experience not required.
  • Series 65 license, CAIA or CFA charter candidate a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
