Overview
The Clinical Research Coordinator I at Brigham and Women's Hospital plays a critical role in supporting clinical research studies. This role involves recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients, collecting and organizing data, and performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs following established protocols.
Essential Functions
- Review proposals for compliance with sponsor and hospital guidelines.
- Recruit patients and conduct phone interviews.
- Verify accuracy and update study forms per protocol.
- Prepare data for analysis and data entry.
- Document patient visits and procedures.
- Assist with regulatory binders, QA/QC procedures, and study regulator submissions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Science is required (or equivalent experience). Some relevant research project work is preferred (0-1 year). Key skills include attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, computer literacy, and knowledge of clinical research protocols.
Physical & Work Requirements
Includes frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 35lbs (with assisted device), balancing, and other physical activities. The position is hybrid with scheduled weekly hours of 40 and a day shift in the United States.
Compensation & Benefits
