Senior Technical Business Analyst at BridgeView

Overview
The Senior Technical Business Analyst serves as the critical liaison between the development team and business stakeholders. This role involves direct engagement with end-user groups and business teams to elicit user requirements and develop functional specifications for digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with other analysts, developers, and designers to ensure system functionality aligns perfectly with business requirements and compliance standards. The position requires performing complex tasks with some oversight, such as developing user stories, experience storyboards, personas, managing digital requirements, and contributing to system deliverables and user documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate cross-departmental teams to transform business requirements into precise technical requirements.
- Work with software engineers and other technology teams to meticulously document business needs for digital project deliverables.
- Write and maintain clear, complete, and executable software requirements specifications.
- Verify that technical design specifications effectively meet user requirements.
- Develop a variety of models and diagrams, including system context models, data flow diagrams, and use case diagrams.
- Create comprehensive user scenarios for user acceptance testing.
- Develop deep domain knowledge on key applications.
- Partner with the project manager to accurately determine project task estimates, deadlines, and deliverables, while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
- Gain consensus and approval on final requirements from all stakeholders.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of dedicated technical business analysis experience.
- Proven experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Github.
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.
- Experience managing requirements, specifically with use cases, and creating software requirements specifications.
- Ability to define problems, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make informed recommendations.
- Strong experience creating user stories to define business needs for digital solutions.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- Extensive experience creating business documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
