OVERVIEW
We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and optimize modern data solutions in an Azure Databricks environment. This role focuses on creating scalable data pipelines, improving data quality, and enabling advanced analytics across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, Spark (PySpark), and Delta Lake
- Build and optimize Azure Data Lake and lakehouse solutions
- Implement data quality, governance, and performance tuning best practices
- Partner with analysts to deliver curated, analytics-ready datasets
- Automate ingestion and deployment using Azure DevOps and CI/CD
- Participate in agile development and technical design discussions
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL (SQL Server) skills
- Hands-on Databricks experience
- Experience with Azure (AWS or GCP considered)
- Git/version control and DevOps exposure
- Azure or Databricks certifications preferred
