Marine Mechanical Claims Adjuster Opportunity at Bridge Specialty Group

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess coverage, determine liability, and evaluate damages.
  • Communicate regularly with customers via phone, email, and text.
  • Utilize digital platforms to manage and resolve claims.
  • Negotiate fair repairs with claimants, third-party facilities, and vendors.
  • Document claims activity and decisions accurately.
  • Support customers throughout the claim and repair process.
  • Collaborate with fellow adjusters on shared responsibilities.
  • Follow Brown & Brown's Claims Culture of caring, empowering, and restoring.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have marine experience as a service writer, parts personnel, technician, inspector, or related field experience. Candidates should be proficient in reading and writing repair orders, estimates, and invoices, and be adept in verifying parts pricing and labor time using published guides and field experience. Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, multi-tasking skills, problem-solving, negotiation abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $20 hourly. Additional benefits include comprehensive health benefits, financial benefits like ESPP and 401k, student loan assistance, tuition reimbursement, mental health services, paid time off, holidays, and preferred partner discounts.
