Overview
The Consultant - Healthcare Performance Improvement role at BRG is focused on delivering measurable and sustainable financial, clinical, and operational performance improvements for healthcare providers. This role involves analytical problem solving, creative solution development, and client engagement management in the revenue cycle space.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze charge generation and capture workflows to identify revenue leakage and compliance risks.
- Develop financial analyses, models, and client deliverables using transactional and financial data.
- Perform detailed research using public, industry, and client data sources.
- Collaborate with Revenue Integrity teams to design and document methodologies.
- Manage client relationships and support project workstreams from execution to oversight.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with 2-6 years of experience in consulting or healthcare revenue integrity. Expertise in Charge Description Master Management, revenue management, and familiarity with industry software tools (including MS Office and various EMRs) is essential. Willingness to travel 50%-75% is required, and candidates must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
