The Analyst Role on the Strategy and Policy Team
We are seeking highly motivated problem solvers with strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and a keen interest in healthcare policy and regulation. Candidates should be agile, entrepreneurial, and eager to advance within the organization. This position provides broad-based, healthcare-related data support specifically for the Strategy and Policy domain of the SSS team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets, and other essential files for project needs.
- Perform detailed research and analysis, gathering and summarizing literature and data from public, industry, client, and commercial sources.
- Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to develop innovative solutions.
- Develop analyses and financial models utilizing transactional and/or financial data.
- Conduct data quality checks, develop test plans, identify anomalies, and ensure data integrity through regular audits.
- Provide comprehensive support for small to medium-sized clients and specific segments of larger projects.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Audit analytic outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant industry standards.
- Present data analysis and product performance evaluations to various stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Actively participate in a collaborative team environment, effectively prioritizing assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with an undergraduate-level understanding of business, finance, accounting, statistics, healthcare policy or administration, or data analysis.
- Strong technical skills, including the motivation and ability to independently execute complex data analytics in SQL, R, or Python; a desire to grow these skills is essential.
- Knowledge or interest in policy research, including the review and analysis of regulations and guidance from government agencies.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to producing high-quality analysis and meticulous attention to detail.
- Desire to thrive within a team-oriented environment.
