Business Development at Brex
The Business Development team drives step-change growth through revenue-driven, product-led partnerships. The team identifies, negotiates and activates scalable distribution channels delivering high-ROI outcomes across customer segments. They work cross-functionally, move quickly, and take full ownership.
What you’ll do
Drive revenue growth by leading complex, partner-led enterprise sales cycles for the Account Executive, Embedded Finance role. Responsibilities include:
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with partner teams.
- Build and execute joint go-to-market strategies with key partners.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for partner teams and end customers.
- Handle technical validations, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
- Deliver tailored financial solutions that drive business transformation.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include partnering with sales teams to drive enterprise deals, creating scalable co-selling motions, and managing shared pipeline development while establishing C-suite relationships.
Requirements
- 5+ years closing experience in channel partner sales in B2B tech or financial services.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- Expertise in navigating complex negotiations and closing high-value deals.
- Ability to work strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Where you’ll work
The role is based in San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City, or Vancouver, with a requirement to work in-office 2 days per week and remote work up to 4 weeks per year.
Compensation
The expected OTE ranges from $218,000 to $240,000 (or $172,000 to $193,000 in SLC) including base salary and commissions, with possible equity and additional compensation components based on performance.
