Breeze Airways is hiring a Compensation Analyst. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and administration of Breeze’s compensation programs while ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Administration & Analysis: Support base pay, incentive programs, bonus administration, and salary structure maintenance.
- Conduct detailed analyses of job roles, market data, and internal pay equity.
- Support annual merit and performance review cycles with salary and bonus recommendations.
- Participate in benchmarking activities and salary surveys.
- Partner with managers and recruiters on offers, promotions, and job evaluations.
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Leverage advanced Excel and analytical tools including Power BI, Workday, and PayFactors.
- Generate, validate, and interpret compensation reports with actionable recommendations.
- Conduct regular pay equity and compliance analyses adhering to federal and state regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of compensation data across HR systems.
Training & Communication
- Create and deliver training materials regarding compensation programs and policies.
- Develop communications such as compensation statements and presentations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on compensation practices for various departments.
Continuous Improvement & Strategy
- Contribute to evolving compensation policies and processes that support business growth.
- Stay current on industry trends, legal changes, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and system enhancements.
- Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition teams on projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, Compensation, or analytics-heavy roles.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, data modeling, and visualization.
- Experience with HRIS tools (Workday and PayFactors preferred) and understanding of compensation fundamentals.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive compensation and analytics experience.
- Certification such as CCP, SHRM-CP/SCP, or HRCI is a plus.
- Experience in the airline or transportation industry.
- Experience in creating interactive dashboards using BI tools.
