Cloud Security Architect at Breakthru Beverage Group

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to manage and improve the design of a security architecture across AWS, multi-cloud, hybrid, and operational technology environments. This role follows a hybrid work schedule with two days in the office and three days remote, preferably based in Linthicum, Maryland.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and engineer security architectures across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Implement AWS-native security services such as IAM, KMS, VPC, and more.
• Support re-architecture and migration of Azure workloads to AWS.
• Develop and enforce Zero Trust security models.
• Integrate AWS with enterprise security solutions like Zscaler, Splunk, and BeyondTrust.
• Collaborate with DevOps for security automation in pipelines.
• Establish governance, risk, and compliance frameworks using policy-as-code.
• Support incident response and forensic investigations with native logging and SIEM.
• Provide thought leadership through workshops, executive briefings, and architecture reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience. At least 10 years in IT Security with a minimum 5 years focusing on AWS architecture. Relevant certifications include AWS Solutions Architect – Associate and CISSP. Proficiency with AWS-native security tools, scripting (Python, Terraform), and hands-on experience with Splunk and multi-cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Professional and CCSP along with a Master’s degree are preferred.
