Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant at Braxtone Group, you will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Your core duties will involve preparing precise and timely financial statements and regulatory reports, adhering strictly to applicable standards. You will manage crucial month-end and year-end closing processes, guaranteeing the completeness and integrity of financial records.

- Collaborate effectively with external auditors to ensure timely and proper adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Develop comprehensive budgets and robust financial plans, leveraging thorough analysis of financial data and prevailing market trends.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations diligently to maintain accurate reporting and ensure proper ledger maintenance.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and forecasting to directly support strategic decision-making and informed business planning.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures, safeguarding company assets and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Assist in audit preparations and coordinate internal audit activities to ensure organizational readiness and compliance.
- Supervise and delegate financial tasks to the accounting team, fostering a culture of quality and ensuring the timely delivery of all assignments.
Education And Experience
We are seeking a candidate with a strong educational background and proven experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field (CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience is required, with at least 2 years specifically in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in a variety of accounting software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Excel skills are essential, along with familiarity with modern data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- A high level of integrity and meticulous attention to detail are paramount.
