The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head, Community, Inclusion and Belonging (CIB), the Community Inclusion and Belonging Strategist collaborates across departments to implement equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging (EDIB) initiatives. This role integrates EDIB principles into curriculum, pedagogy, co-curricular activities, and organizational systems.

  • Design and implement CIB programs and events across all school levels.
  • Collaborate on integrating EDIB resources into curriculum and school practices.
  • Lead coordination of student-led initiatives, parent engagement, and employee programs.
  • Advise on anti-racism and inclusion policies with research-based insights.
  • Support communications and marketing of CIB initiatives through various channels.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree or has 5 years of related work experience in an educational setting, with proven skills in developing and coordinating EDIB initiatives. You should be adept at facilitating inclusive learning sessions, working with sensitive topics, and collaborating in a cross-functional team.

  • Graduate degree in Education, Social Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in developing EDIB initiatives.
  • Strong project management, adaptive thinking, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in anti-racism education, cultural competency, and inclusive curriculum design.
