Job Description
User Experience Designer at Braintrust
As a User Experience Designer with Braintrust, you will play a pivotal role in transforming product requirements into elegant, scalable, and intuitive user experiences for a prominent consumer-facing platform, specifically contributing to Reddit's web and native applications. This remote role strongly prefers overlap with Westcoast and Eastcoast hours, indicating a need for seamless collaboration across US time zones.
Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into elegant, scalable, and intuitive user experiences for our consumer-facing web and native applications.
- Proactively generate and ideate net new solutions that drive Reddit growth.
- Proactively collaborate with product managers, engineering peers, and other UX designers to land novel and innovative solutions for Reddit's core surfaces.
- Communicate and coordinate well with remote team members across several time zones.
- Collaborate with other designers, product managers, engineers, and UX researchers with effective exploration, communication, and presentation to realize deliverables.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are necessary due to frequent opportunities to present to the C-suite and senior leadership.
- Curiosity towards novel and delightful interaction design.
- Ability to work in a multi-matrixed organization partnering with cross-functional peers among engineering, design, content, creative, product, and researchers.
- Bonus: being able to prototype ideas and concepts in HTML/CSS in live code is a growing need, so candidates with this skill will be prioritized.
