Overview of the SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Platform Expert Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Platform Expert to spearhead our crucial migration from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online. This pivotal role involves assessing and implementing the most effective solutions by leveraging the full potential of these powerful Microsoft platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our system architecture team to thoroughly evaluate existing and new SharePoint tools, including Power Automate and Power Platform.
- Provide expert guidance on the extensive capabilities and best practices for effectively utilizing Power Automate and Power Platform within our enterprise environment.
- Assist proactively in identifying and clearly defining custom development needs based on comprehensive reevaluation of current systems.
- Support seamless integration of SharePoint with other essential tools and platforms as required for our operational efficiency.
- Contribute significantly to the strategic planning and robust design of advanced automation workflows and comprehensive platform solutions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure complete alignment with overarching project goals and stringent technical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Proven, extensive experience as a dedicated SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Platform Expert.
- Strong, in-depth understanding of SharePoint architecture, including customization techniques and various integration strategies.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and successfully implementing complex workflows using Power Automate.
- Solid familiarity with the comprehensive Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power BI (optional), and Dataverse Tables.
- Demonstrated development experience across Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI (optional), and Dataverse Tables.
- Direct development experience in SharePoint Online, encompassing custom web parts, custom web extensions, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Functions, REST API, and SharePoint Online Client Apps.
- Proven experience with SharePoint migration projects using tools like Sharegate, transitioning from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online.
- Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with SharePoint Taxonomy management.
- Relevant AI experience specifically related to SharePoint or Power Platform solutions.
- Mandatory Cloud certification in either Azure or AWS, as per contractor requirements.
- Exceptional ability to meticulously analyze complex requirements and recommend scalable, efficient solutions.
- Excellent communication and highly effective collaboration skills.
- Prior experience working in system architecture or similar strategic roles is a significant advantage.

- Obtained certifications in SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power Platform, demonstrating specialized expertise.
- Valuable experience with custom development and implementing automation solutions within large enterprise environments.
