Job Description
About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to help modernise and standardise the UI across VenueNET / ShowTicks, a production ticketing platform used by live venues and events. This role will initially involve part-to-full time work modernizing legacy code (2-4 weeks), then transition to a more maintenance/project-based schedule (roughly 5-10 hours/week).
This is not a greenfield SPA build; the focus is on creating reusable templates and UI modules within an existing server-rendered platform.
You’ll work on
- Building responsive templates (home, events, listings, ticketing pages)
- Creating repeatable UI modules (nav, sliders, event blocks, footers)
- Refactoring and cleaning up existing front-end code
- Improving performance, consistency, and mobile UX
Tech Stack
The core technologies include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap 5, and carousel libraries such as Flickity.
