Senior DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for CAW, a cutting-edge SocialFi platform that integrates social networking with Web3 technologies. This role is a contract position, offering flexibility for either full-time or part-time engagement over 6+ months, with potential for long-term collaboration. The project focuses on building a modern web stack with messaging, NFT functionality, and wallet integrations.
What You'll Work On
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the reliability, scalability, and automation of CAW's infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and operating the infrastructure powering the CAW platform.
- Building and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Improving CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Enhancing observability and monitoring systems.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Improving system reliability and incident response processes.
- Supporting developer productivity and faster deployments.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud infrastructure tailored for production environments.
- Maintain and continuously improve Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure operational excellence.
- Provide critical support for reliability initiatives and incident management.
Current Stack
The platform is built on a modern and robust technology stack, including:
- Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript
- Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
- DevOps Tooling: Terraform, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Proven expertise in Kubernetes production operations.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with Web3 or blockchain infrastructure.
- Experience scaling high-traffic systems.
- Knowledge of security and cloud compliance best practices.
