Project Description

We are looking for a Mid-Level Python Developer to join our AI-driven statistical research project. In this role, you'll build scripts that perform core statistical analysis on data extracted from PDFs and web sources using NumPy and vanilla Python.

Responsibilities

• Write Python scripts using NumPy and vanilla Python.
• Implement custom statistical functions like chi-square tests and correlations.
• Perform linear regression without external ML libraries.
• Transform data (inflation adjustments, date mapping, digit extraction).
• Document reasoning to ensure reproducible and reliable results.
• Collaborate with data annotators on dataset processing and analysis.

Experience & Qualifications

2-4 years of professional experience in Python development, data analysis, or applied statistics. Proficiency with NumPy, strong capability to implement formulas, and a solid understanding of probability, regression, and hypothesis testing are required. Excellent communication and documentation skills in English are essential. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Commitment

Expect a minimum of 17–20 hours per week with a recommended commitment of 8 hours per day.
