Role Overview - Principal Power Platform Developer

In this role, you will design and lead custom solutions, business apps, complex workflow automations, and digital transformation projects using Microsoft Power Platform, particularly focusing on Power Automate and Power Apps. Working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will streamline business processes, drive efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as key technical liaison between the Head of Development and the Delivery Team
  • Apply ALM best practices across the lifecycle of applications
  • Design, develop, and implement workflows and automations including custom connectors and APIs
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers
  • Review code and provide mentorship to junior developers
  • Deliver technical support and troubleshoot Power Automate issues
  • Create and update documentation for all workflows
  • Stay updated on latest Power Automate features and advancements
  • Lead technical discussions and decisions on the Power Platform
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and technical excellence

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years developing solutions with the Power Platform
  • 3+ years in a leadership/mentorship role
  • Deep understanding of Power Platform architecture and integrations
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Strong background in Microsoft 365 and Power Automate integrations
  • Proficiency with RESTful web services, JSON, and OAuth 2.0
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Graph API, PowerShell, SQL
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and Azure Functions is a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Familiarity with Power Bi, Power Virtual Agent, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Microsoft Certification (PL-200, PL-600, or PL-900) is a bonus
  • Prior startup experience is advantageous
