Role Overview

The Full-Stack Software Engineer Europe & LATAM Remote at Braintrust is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our productized services. This role demands proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration within a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Software Development: Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions.
  • Full-Stack Development: Write clean, functional code for both front-end and back-end.
  • Architecture Design: Develop client-side and server-side architectures.
  • Database Management: Create and manage robust databases and applications.
  • API Development: Develop efficient APIs.
  • Testing & Debugging: Ensure software responsiveness, troubleshoot and upgrade.
  • Security: Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Collaboration: Work with teams and stakeholders to implement software solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, including development of desktop and mobile applications.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in front-end languages (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) and back-end languages (PHP), familiarity with frameworks such as Laravel, Vue.js, Node.js; experience with databases like MySQL and MongoDB; and web servers such as Apache.

Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong problem solving with excellent team collaboration and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in full-stack development.
  • Experience in the automotive or digital marketing industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern development tools.
