Key Responsibilities

  • Assess solutions for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the prompt.
  • Identify errors in methodology or conceptual understanding.
  • Fact-check biological information using public sources.
  • Write high-quality biological explanations and model solutions.
  • Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on biological correctness and reasoning quality.

Compensation

Competitive compensation varies based on education level, institution, and prior experience. Compensation is provided upon passing the qualification and project exams.

Hiring Profile

  • Holds or is pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Biology or a related field.
  • Expert at fact-checking and communicating complex information clearly.
  • English proficiency C1 and above with excellent writing skills.
  • Preferred background in research, analytical writing, debate, programming, or physics.
  • Bonus experience in data labeling, RLHF, or AI model evaluation.

Application & Onboarding Process

Apply via partner site. Braintrust will email detailed instructions including a qualification exam (1-2 hours) and a project exam (1-2 hours) to evaluate your expertise.

Commitment

Minimum expectation of 17-20 hours per week, with a recommended commitment of 8 hours/day.
