About the Role

Braintrust supports a portfolio of established consumer brands in Sports & Outdoors and Clothing & Footwear on Amazon. We're looking for a hands-on operator to own organic growth + conversion strategy across multiple brands, partnering closely with our PPC owner and in-house creative team.

This is a contractor engagement, remote (North America preferred for timezone overlap), requiring 20+ hours/week. Compensation ranges from $40-75/hr depending on fit, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. A paid test project will be used to vet finalists.

What You'll Do as an Amazon Organic Growth Specialist

  • Build and run an organic growth roadmap using Amazon Brand Analytics / Search Query Performance (SQP).
  • Improve conversion via listing strategy (PDP content, A+/images/copy briefs) in partnership with creative.
  • Identify keyword and storefront opportunities that make sense for premium/catalog brands (not private label playbooks).
  • Partner with paid media to improve efficiency (e.g., lowering TACOS through better conversion + organic lift).
  • Drive a simple experimentation cadence: hypothesis → test → measure → iterate.
  • Produce clear weekly reporting and recommendations tied to outcomes.
  • Create playbooks/SOPs that help our internal team take on repeatable tasks over time.
  • Provide recommended listing/storefront edits + rationale (implementation may be handled by our team).

Requirements

  • Recent, hands-on experience owning Amazon organic growth for established brands (agency or in-house).
  • Fluency with Brand Analytics + SQP (and turning insights into actions).
  • Strong conversion instincts and ability to write crisp creative/content briefs.
  • Comfort working across multiple SKUs/variants and larger catalogs.
  • Strong written communication and a structured approach to testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with premium brands in the categories above.
  • Storefront strategy experience.
  • Familiarity with Helium 10, DataDive, or utilizing AI, and strong data literacy.
