Administrative Assistant - Deputyship Team

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our Deputyship Team on a permanent basis. This is a part-time role, working 18.5 hours per week. About You

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be highly organized and motivated, with a strong desire to support vulnerable residents and uphold the council’s statutory duties. You will possess excellent administrative, IT, and communication skills. Experience in a care, legal, or financial background relevant to this role is preferred.

This role is partly office-based in Time Square, Bracknell. Flexible working hours and hybrid working arrangements are available, subject to service requirements.

About The Team

The Bracknell Forest Council Deputyship Team provides financial support and representation to residents who cannot manage their own finances and have no one else to assist them. The Administrative Assistant will directly support officers in daily service delivery, ensuring Bracknell meets its legal obligations to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to Bracknell Forest Council’s Deputyship Team.
  • Manage and maintain systems and databases containing client information.
  • Support Deputyship Officers in managing the financial and personal affairs of Bracknell residents.
  • Assist in relevant service delivery, including generating Court of Protection applications, corresponding with the Department for Work and Pensions, or liaising with other Bracknell Forest Council departments and/or external stakeholders.
