Overview
The Executive Assistant at bp provides comprehensive administrative and leadership support to the VP Refining and the Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the VP, this role serves as a liaison with senior management and is responsible for mentoring site administrative staff to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Key Accountabilities
Supervision: Ensure confidentiality, meticulous calendar management, and quality work while leading administrative support staff.
Additional Responsibilities: Support VP and leadership, refine internal processes, coordinate resources, and manage communications with internal and external teams.
Leadership & Organization
Create a positive work environment through coaching, mentoring, and training administrative staff. Drive process improvements and knowledge sharing to enhance team competency.
Risk & Procedures
Ensure compliance with HSSE standards while assessing and mitigating risks. Promote continuous improvement of refinery-wide processes.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience supporting C-Level executives. Strong communication, time-management, proficiency with office tools, and confidentiality are key.
Desired Qualifications
Self-driven, systemic thinker who seeks sustainable process improvements and demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $108,000 with additional paid vacation, holidays, and parental leave. A discretionary annual bonus, long-term incentive program, retirement benefits, and health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance are included.
