Job Description

Senior Logistics Supervisor at BOX NOW Croatia

The Senior Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for daily logistics operations across first mile, last mile, and depot operations for whole Croatia. This role ensures smooth parcel flow from senders to parcel lockers, high service quality, and strong operational performance. This role reports and works closely with the Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

First Mile Operations
  • Manage parcel pickup operations from partners and clients
  • Plan and monitor pickup routes and schedules
  • Ensure on-time parcel collection and correct handover to depots
  • Solve daily operational issues related to first mile
  • Internal drivers and 3PL
Last Mile Operations
  • Manage parcel delivery to parcel lockers
  • Plan and optimize delivery routes and capacity
  • Monitor delivery performance (SLA, delivery quality,...)
  • Handle operational incidents and delivery escalations
  • Internal drivers and 3PL
Depot and HUB Operations
  • Oversee daily operations in depots and HUB
Operational Supervision
  • Supervise depot leaders and operational staff
  • Ensure procedures and work instructions are followed
  • Act as the first escalation point for daily operational issues
Performance Tracking and Reporting
  • Close cooperation with Business and Data Analysts
  • Track and report key logistics KPIs (SLA, productivity, cost per parcel)
  • Analyze daily operational results and identify improvement actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
Cross-team Cooperation
  • Work closely with Quality Department and Customer Support to resolve parcel issues
  • Coordinate with IT and network teams on operational changes
  • Support Logistics Manager with data, insights, and execution

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics or operations (parcel delivery, courier, 3PL, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of first mile, depot operations, and last mile operations
  • Experience supervising teams and external partners
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-growth operational environment
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Basic analytical skills and experience working with KPIs
  • English at working proficiency level
