This is a unique opportunity for fellowship-trained cardiologists to shape the future of medical technology by evaluating the ability of large language models to interpret advanced, real-world ECG/EKG cases.

We welcome applications from cardiologists across all subspecialties, with particular demand for experts in Electrophysiology and Clinical Cardiology.

The Impact You’ll Make

In this role, you will move beyond standard clinical practice to push the boundaries of machine reasoning in cardiovascular medicine. Your responsibilities include:

• Establishing Gold Standards: Develop definitive ECG interpretations paired with clear, sophisticated diagnostic reasoning.
• Edge Case Analysis: Focus on nuanced differentials and complex reasoning within ECG analysis that challenge current AI capabilities.
• Expert Collaboration: Work directly with research teams at a leading AI lab to provide feedback on model failure modes.
• Reasoning Refinement: Identify and document subtle conduction abnormalities and complex arrhythmia patterns to improve model accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements

We are looking for clinicians who pair deep technical knowledge with exceptional attention to detail.

• Education: MD or DO from an an accredited medical school.
• Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and a Cardiology fellowship (any subspecialty).
• Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Experience: 2+ years of post-training clinical experience.
• Location: Currently based in the United States.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for explaining complex medical logic.

Preferred Expertise

• Fellowship training in Electrophysiology.
• Primary clinical practice with a high volume of ECG interpretations.
• Academic or teaching experience (working with residents or fellows).
• Experience in creating case-based assessments, board-style exam questions, or rubrics.

Engagement Details

• Role Type: Independent Contractor.
• Flexibility: 100% remote; complete tasks on your own schedule.
• Duration: Project-based with the potential for extension based on performance and lab needs.
• Compensation: $250-$300 per hour Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
• Compliance: This role does not involve access to confidential information from your current employer or institution.
