As a key member of our engineering team, you will help build scalable, high-performance websites and applications while working with a range of modern web technologies. Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
- Customize WordPress solutions to meet business needs, including developing custom post types, taxonomies, and shortcodes.
- Lead the implementation of WordPress features and projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Manage DNS configurations and ensure proper domain routing for WordPress-based sites.
- Experience with WPEngine is a plus, including performance optimization and environment management.
- Participate in architectural discussions, providing insights on WordPress scalability and security.
- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, maintainability, and performance optimization.
- Work closely with designers and frontend developers to integrate WordPress backend logic with custom themes and user interfaces.
- Develop and optimize database queries for WordPress (MySQL), ensuring performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex WordPress issues, providing timely resolutions and root cause analysis.
