Role Summary

The Marketing AI Strategist leads transformation for the client's marketing technology ecosystem and AI-powered customer experiences. This role owns the strategic vision and execution across the Martech stack, focusing on cost optimization, AI adoption, and measurable business outcomes while bridging marketing strategy, data science, and enterprise architecture.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Cost Optimization & Platform Rationalization: Conduct TCO analysis of Adobe stack, develop build vs. buy recommendations, lead stack consolidation, create financial models, and define AI-driven decisioning frameworks.
  • Technology Strategy & Architecture: Define QoQ Martech strategy, provide architecture recommendations for customer data infrastructure, lead quarterly audits, and identify high-value AI/automation use cases.
  • Executive Partnership: Present data-driven insights to senior leadership and build business cases with ROI projections and risk assessments.
  • Innovation Leadership & AI: Lead innovation sprints, develop LLM/SLM apps, drive predictive analytics, and oversee pilots and proof-of-value initiatives.
  • Information Security: Promote security awareness, assess risks, ensure compliance with data protection standards, and safeguard sensitive data.
  • Responsibilities: Define and deploy complex B2B customer journeys, optimize multi-touch attribution, partner with data science on predictive models, and architect personalized ABM programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years in marketing technology with 5+ years in strategic roles.
  • Deep expertise with Adobe Stack and Pega decisioning platforms.
  • Hands-on AI/ML experience including LLMs, propensity models, and recommendation engines.
  • Proven track record of cost optimizations through stack rationalization.
  • Experience with GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Gemini preferred) and B2B marketing.
  • Expertise in API integrations, data modeling, performance marketing, and programmatic advertising tech.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or similar for data analysis.
