The Boulder County Sheriff's Office is hiring a Bilingual Human Services Caseworker B for the Human Services Department. This full-time role involves conducting investigations, counseling families, coordinating foster care placements, and more in areas like child abuse and neglect, youth-in-conflict, and adult protection.
Salary & Schedule
Salary Range: $62,520.00 - $76,284.00 Annually. Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, based at 3460 Broadway, Boulder, Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations of child abuse and neglect cases.
- Develop case plans and provide counseling services.
- Coordinate intake assessments and manage foster care placements.
- Conduct home visits and liaise with community services.
- Testify in court and prepare concise reports.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must possess at least one year of human services casework experience and a relevant bachelor's degree. A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English are essential. Passing a background check and fingerprinting is also required.
