Position Summary

Bottomline Technologies is seeking a smart, highly motivated individual to work as a DevOps Engineer. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, QA, Product Management, and Delivery teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure & Bottomline solutions in cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Add automation to build and deployment processes.
  • Monitor system, application, and network performance.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices.
  • Design scalable network and deployment architecture.
  • Continuously improve processes and technologies.

Experience and Required Skills

  • 3+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools: Gitlab, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Maven.
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Terraform and Puppet.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Good understanding of networking protocols and concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Database & Software deployment.
  • Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and multi-tier architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS DevOps.
  • Passion for learning and mastering IT.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Financial industry exposure.
  • Experience in web server/application server deployments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
