About the Role
The Senior Program Coordinator works with staff in the Office of the University Registrar, specifically within Curriculum Management, Bulletin, and the Enrollment & Student Administration unit. The role partners with faculty, deans, and administrative colleagues across Boston University as well as with external clients and vendors. Reporting to the Associate Registrar for Curriculum and Classroom Management, the role provides operational support, manages the daily Curriculum Management inbox, performs quality control, and offers re-education on processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide detailed operational support for Curriculum and Classroom Management.
- Manage daily Curriculum Management inbox and communications.
- Perform quality control on work and departmental schedules.
- Re-educate academic schedulers on procedures.
- Communicate accurately with internal and external clients.
- Maintain confidentiality and seek guidance on complex tasks.
About the Organization
The Office of the University Registrar, part of Enrollment & Student Administration, supports student progress and academic services at Boston University. It handles registration, transcript management, classroom assignments, and more, all while upholding an inclusive and respectful environment.
Required and Preferred Skills
A bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience, excellent communication, scheduling familiarity, multi-tasking, data entry accuracy, and a methodical approach are required. Preferred skills include experience in higher education and familiarity with systems like Banner or PeopleSoft.
