Position Summary
The Case Coordinator for Housing Search in the Elders Living At Home Program is responsible for assessing clients and providing housing search services for older, homeless, and low-income individuals, as well as couples and younger or insecurely housed clients. The goal is to secure safe, stable, permanent housing through comprehensive assessments, outreach, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Essential Responsibilities / Duties
- Conduct comprehensive client assessments at various locations.
- Search and apply for subsidized and market rate housing.
- Assist clients with applications, interviews, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with BMC staff to develop housing plans.
- Provide stabilization support including home visits and referrals.
- Maintain accurate case files and prepare statistical reports.
- Participate in team meetings and input data into HMIS.
- Outreach and develop housing resource databases.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, public health or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience working with low income individuals and/or housing search experience is preferred.

- Understanding of housing policies and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Cultural sensitivity and teamwork focus.
- Additional language skills are an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range is $20.67- $29.81 hourly, based on qualifications and market factors.
