Overview
As a Robotics Engineer Software and Controls at Boston Dynamics, you will design and code real-time systems for our fleet of Stretch warehouse robots. You will engage in iterative hardware testing to refine performance and functionality.
Day To Day Activities
- Develop software interfacing with hardware and safety systems
- Create behavior components for customer applications and robot testing
- Design and implement automated diagnostics for robot components
- Test, debug, and deploy designs on advanced robots
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve design objectives
Desired Skills
- BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in C++
- Expertise in motor control, robot sensing, and safety systems
- Experience with finite state machines or behavior trees
- Hands-on testing, debugging, and deployment experience with robots
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Benefits
The base pay range is between $131,763.78 and $208,015.97 annually, with a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and annual bonus structure.
