What You'll Do
Join the Data Layer Team and shape the future as a Global Data Governance Lead. You will design, implement and manage a comprehensive data governance framework, ensuring data integrity, security, compliance, and usability across the enterprise.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Defining overall vision, roadmap, and priorities for data governance.
- Leading and enforcing data policies and best practices.
- Managing data ownership, stewardship, and lifecycle processes.
- Implementing data quality standards and oversight mechanisms.
- Enhancing commercial offerings through improved data accessibility and actionable insights.
Responsibilities and Key Contributions
As Data Governance Lead, you will liaise between business, IT, legal, analytics, and other functions; establish councils, train teams, and lead initiatives from data catalog development to GenAI readiness. You will also enforce role-based access controls and ensure data security and compliance, while enabling a data driven culture across BCG.
What You'll Bring
Minimum 10-12 years experience in data-related roles. Prior consulting data experience and a proven track record in Data Governance strategy, data quality, metadata management and GenAI initiatives are paramount. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and a business-focused mindset are needed. A relevant bachelor’s or higher degree is required.
