The Business Services Team, comprising over 300 people in Paris, plays an essential role in supporting BCG's activities. Within our various support functions, our BCGers work daily in close collaboration with the consulting teams.
What You'll Do
Within the Finance department (accounting, management control, payroll), and more specifically in the Accounting team, you will be involved in both routine operations and a structuring process formalization project. Under the supervision of a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to the following missions:
- Mapping & Formalization of Accounting Processes (Structuring Project): In the context of our recent ERP migration and to ensure a clear, harmonized, and actionable view of our Finance activities, you will contribute, within a defined scope, to:
- Mapping existing accounting flows (clients, suppliers, expense reports).
- Identifying roles and responsibilities between local teams and shared service centers.
- Formalizing key procedures (Standard Operating Procedures - SOPs).
- Documenting control points and associated risks.
- Structuring a clear and usable documentation base.
- Adaptation to Regulatory Changes (Electronic Invoicing): In support of the team, you will participate in activities related to the deployment of electronic invoicing:
- Impact analysis on existing flows.
- Contribution to procedure adaptation.
- Process documentation update.
- Accounting Operations & Analyses (Recurring Missions):
- Monitoring expense reports in coordination with the shared service center in India.
- Compliance checks with internal policies.
- Support for the Accounts Payable process (supplier creation, document compliance, advance payments).
- Production of periodic analyses and reports.
- Execution of ad-hoc tasks assigned by team members, based on priorities and operational needs (e.g., reporting on business difficulty prevention, support for vehicle fleet financial management).
What You'll Bring
- You are pursuing a Master's degree (Bac +4/+5) with a specialization in Finance.
- Ideally, you have previous experience in a finance department.
- You are proficient in spreadsheet software.
- You possess strong oral and written communication skills and are recognized for your interpersonal skills.
- You are organized, can work autonomously, and manage multiple subjects simultaneously.
- You have excellent command of English and are comfortable working in an international environment.
