What You'll Do
As a member of our consulting team, you’ll work alongside top minds on cases that reshape business, government, and society. You’ll collaborate on challenging projects with diverse team members, increasing your understanding of complex business problems and developing new skills and experience. Consulting work is varied and rigorous, often performed at client sites. Projects can vary in length, size, and location, and international travel may be required.

Junior Consultant
As a Junior Consultant, you will work alongside case team members and clients, drawing on your business knowledge to help drive analysis. As you gain experience, you will be given end-to-end responsibility for delivering project workstreams. A minimum of three years of full-time work experience is required for the Junior Consultant level.
Consultant
As a Consultant, you’ll develop specialized knowledge and handle significantly larger and more complex project components. You’ll work closely with clients to identify issues, craft strategies for change, and win consensus for your recommendations. You will collaborate with fellow BCGers to transform client potential into performance. Typically, Consultants joining as experienced professionals have over 5 years of full-time work experience and demonstrate a strong career trajectory.
What You'll Bring
Education
- Undergraduate degree and/or Masters, MBA, PhD with outstanding academic performance.
Professional Skills
- 3+ years of consulting or industry experience with a proven track record of achievement and high performance.
- Industry experience ideally in one of the following areas: mining, oil and gas, engineering, climate and sustainability, consumer products, private equity, public sector, banking and finance, law, healthcare/medicine, technology, or telecommunications.
- Ability to think analytically and creatively with excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills.
- Adopting out-of-the-box thinking and the capability to package complex topics and ideas.
- Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.
Personal Attributes
- Flexible, curious, and creative, open to new ideas and proposing innovative solutions.
