Business Development Engineer at BituNed
As a Business Development Engineer at BituNed, a subsidiary of Boskalis Nederland, you have the opportunity to fulfill a broad and impactful role thanks to the scale and position of our organization. You will be the driving force behind the (re)positioning of BituNed, together with strategic partners, in a changing market. You will not only be involved in developing new products but also in making our range more sustainable, identifying opportunities, and strengthening our network. This way, you will make a direct contribution to our growth and innovation.
Your Responsibilities
As a Business Development Engineer, you know how to recognize and utilize supply and demand. Your activities include:
- Product Development and Innovation: Developing, optimizing, and making products more sustainable. Working with alternative materials and creating LCAs, MKIs, and EPDs.
- Market Consultation and Acquisition: Creating tender and network opportunities with clients, including governments. Expanding and maintaining your network with partners, suppliers, and clients.
- Network and Knowledge Sharing: Actively participating in working groups, seminars, and industry meetings. Representing BituNed at trade shows.
Who You Are
You are an entrepreneurial and results-oriented professional who sees opportunities, takes initiative, and has a strong market vision. Additionally, you possess:
- A relevant technical education, for example, Civil Engineering.
- Specific market and product knowledge.
- Practical knowledge of binders, asphalt, and application possibilities.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Initiative, customer focus, and creativity; a dynamic and responsible attitude, perseverance, and ambition.

- An active and extensive network with stakeholders, including suppliers and governments.

About Boskalis

In the transition of the infrastructure market concerning climate objectives, a shift will occur in BituNed's product pallet, with environmental impact and circularity being leading factors.
