About the role
Job Summary
Bosch Rexroth is seeking an experienced Marketing Communication Specialist for its Automation and Electrification (AE) business unit in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing external product communication strategies to drive awareness, interest, and demand. You will collaborate closely with Product Management and Sales teams, leveraging an integrated multichannel approach for both online and offline channels to enhance distributor satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategy for external product communication plans.
- Drive top-of-funnel inbound marketing, integrating content from central business units and harmonizing across all mediums.
- Provide marketing support for trade fairs, events, and coordinate content development and execution.
- Utilize an integrated multichannel approach (PR, social media, paid media, events, technical content, e-communications, webinars, etc.).
- Collaborate with agencies to select media, content, and timing for maximum effectiveness and lead generation.
- Compile, maintain, and report on campaign success, lead generation, and budget management.
- Integrate consistent product content, promotions, and branding across platforms and media, customizing for distributors.
- Ensure timely updates of website content and maintain in-depth knowledge of competitor go-to-market positions.
- Support distributor-specific projects with communication materials and enhance distributor growth.
- Support the marketing communications manager in cross-technology content and tactics development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical B2B marketing, communications, or marketing support.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Demonstrated expertise with LinkedIn, social media, and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create marketing copy for multiple media formats.
- Ability to translate technical product features into compelling marketing messages.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns, tracking KPIs, and analyzing performance data.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong judgment and initiative.
- Fundamental financial acumen for managing marketing budgets.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
