What You Will Do
The Senior Controls Engineer will design and document control systems for custom automated equipment. Responsibilities include producing and maintaining design drawings using CAD and CREO, participating in cross-functional teams, and ensuring continuous improvements in manufacturing processes.
How You Will Do It
- Design and document control systems for automated equipment.
- Create detailed design drawings via CAD and CREO.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve design and quality challenges.
- Coordinate machine debugging, power-ups, and validation.
- Develop test protocols for mechanical components and machinery.
- Support manufacturing operations with ongoing technical assistance.
- Drive continuous process improvements and share best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC/HMI programming.
- Experience in electrical design and programming systems including Robotics, Automated Systems, Vision Systems, and Machine Controls.
- Project Management experience is required.
- Proven problem-solving skills and detail orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
