Job Overview: Cloud Engineer SME

This role demands hands-on experience in managing containerized workloads and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Azure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Apply networking concepts in cloud environments.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
  • Develop scripts for automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Support cloud infrastructure projects and advise on Databricks-Azure integrations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure management/administration.
  • Experience with on-prem infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
