Job Description
Freud is the worldwide leader in the cutting tool industry, offering an extensive range of high precision tools including Circular Saw Blades, Drilling, Routing, CNC tools and Cutters. As the Business Development Manager (UK & Ireland), you will join an international sales team working closely with the Bosch Power Tool sales team to drive profitable sales and industrial growth in carpentry, joinery, and industrial woodworking sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable sales and industrial product growth.
- Collaborate with machine/trade distributors and re-sharpeners to implement pricing strategies.
- Expand distribution and portfolio with targeted end-user lists.
- Launch products and enhance market share through distribution excellence.
- Provide technical support and match the right tool to customer needs.
- Implement central promotional calendars and participate in trade fairs.
- Train customers and local staff as required.
- Gather market intelligence and contribute to annual growth plans.
- Serve as the Freud ambassador in the UK & Ireland.
Qualifications
While a background in woodworking or knowledge of machine manufacturing and cutting is beneficial, candidates must demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, strong commercial and negotiation skills, autonomy, resilience, and a track record in industrial business acquisition. A full UK driving license and readiness to travel are required.
