Role Overview

The Business Analyst HR (AI/ML) will bridge business needs with AI-powered technical solutions, transforming HR operations, decision-making, and employee experience through innovative AI-driven products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Map HR processes like talent acquisition, employee lifecycle, performance, learning, and workforce planning, identifying AI/ML enhancement opportunities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies balancing innovation with compliance and governance.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers to design, test, and implement HR AI solutions.
  • Create functional specifications, process flows, and user stories for development teams.
  • Oversee data preparation, quality checks, and model training for HR AI/ML initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to HR compliance frameworks regarding data privacy, bias mitigation, and AI governance.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews to drive adoption and measure ROI.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and support change management efforts.
  • Stay updated on HR tech and AI/ML trends to recommend emerging tools and capabilities.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience: Approximately 15 years overall experience, with 8–12 years as a Functional Consultant / Business Analyst in HR technology and process consulting, plus 3 years of experience in AI/ML business cases or application of AI/ML in HR.

Mandatory Skills

  • HR Domain Expertise
  • AI/ML application in HR (predictive analytics, chatbots, talent intelligence, skills mapping)
  • Strong business analysis capabilities including requirements gathering and process mapping
  • Experience with major HRIS platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow HRSD)
  • Stakeholder management and clear communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with GenAI applications in HR like AI copilots and natural language search
  • Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI)
  • Exposure to people analytics tools such as Visier, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik
  • Knowledge of NLP and HR chatbot frameworks
  • Certification in AI in HR or People Analytics
