Role Overview: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Quality Management

This role involves customer management, operational quality management, field failure analysis, cross functional teamwork, and maintaining internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Management: Execute warranty protocols, monitor customer perception, and implement customer requirements through plant quality.
  • Operational Quality Management: Conduct system level investigations for field failures, prepare reports, and escalate risks as needed.
  • Cross Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with various departments and plants on special projects to reduce complaints and clear inventories.
  • Internal Quality Standards: Ensure audit readiness, resolve non-compliance cases, and address escalations.
  • Problem Solving: Use proven problem-solving tools like 8D, 5 Why, and Ishikawa diagrams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Power Electronics)
  • 5-8 years of automotive industry experience in Quality and Customer Quality functions
  • Expertise in customer warranty management and external defect cost reduction
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Experience in field failure analysis and root cause investigation
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and system-level troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of statistical and data analysis techniques
