The Opportunity:
Contribute to the evolving field of cybersecurity and help organizations stay ahead of threats. As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will collect, process, and analyze information to enhance security measures and address real-world security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks under the guidance of experienced professionals.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate on cybersecurity projects across various commercial industries.
- Engage in data analysis, documentation, and presentations to leaders.
- Participate in challenges based on real-world security events.
- Assume roles such as Security Analyst, Incident Responder, and more.
- Work both independently and within teams to propose security solutions.
Requirements:
Basic experience in cybersecurity research or analysis; familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; exposure to scripting or programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash); ability to work in teams and independently; scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Winter 2027, Spring 2028, or Summer 2028.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response; knowledge of security frameworks and best practices; ability to solve technical problems in a fast-changing environment; strong communication and analytical skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation determined by various factors with a projected range from $53,000 to $108,000.
