Procurement Specialist, Mid
This role involves researching and negotiating major organizational contracts and procurements. You will apply advanced skills, technical expertise, and industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. The role requires minimal direction, mentoring, and supervising team members.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of procurement or direct purchasing in defense contracting
- Experience with hardware and software procurements for DoD contracts including FAR and DFARS
- Ability to establish CPSR-compliant procurement files over $250,000
- Skilled in evaluating and negotiating terms to mitigate risk
- Experience in reviewing statements of work and bills of materials
- Ability to educate on contract requirements and procurement processes
- Proficient in evaluating source justifications for compliance
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Minimum HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with defense contracting procurement
- Familiarity with software license agreements under GSAM or GSAR
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Compensation range for this position is projected between $53,000 to $108,000 annually.
